Red Rock Canyon NCA Bobcat Postcard

This bobcat was photographed in Calico Basin near Red Springs in 2017.

In Red Rock Canyon, Nevada, bobcats, with their distinctive spotted fur, roam the rocky Mojave Desert terrain. These elusive and skilled hunters primarily hunt small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Although rare to spot due to their secretive nature, encountering a bobcat in the canyon is a thrilling experience.

Remember to observe them from a safe distance, respecting their natural habitat and behavior.
